Privacy policy

MBtech attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data, which is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This policy explains which personal data is collected when you use this website, why, how long it is kept and what your rights are. It is established in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French “Informatique et Libertés” law. This website is intended for professionals.

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

  • Contact form: name, email address, company (optional) and the content of your message. This information is needed to answer your request.
  • Server technical logs: IP address, date and time, pages viewed and browser type, recorded automatically by the host at each visit.
  • Technical cookie: a session cookie, set only on the contact page, protects the form against fraudulent submissions (see the cookie policy).

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer your requests for information, demonstrations or quotes, and to ensure the related commercial follow-up. Legal basis: MBtech's legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries.
  • To ensure the security and proper operation of the website and prevent abuse. Legal basis: MBtech's legitimate interest in protecting its website.
  • To comply with our legal obligations, in particular the retention of connection logs by the host. Legal basis: legal obligation.

4. How long we keep it

  • Requests received through the form: for the time needed to handle your request, then for a maximum of 3 years from our last contact, before deletion or anonymisation.
  • Server technical logs: 12 months maximum, in accordance with the regulations applicable to hosts.
  • Session cookie: deleted when you close your browser.

5. Who can access your data

Your data is intended for the MBtech sales and technical teams authorised to handle your request. It is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. We use technical service providers acting as processors within the meaning of the GDPR (website hosting, email): OVH SAS — hébergement et messagerie, France.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

If your request requires the involvement of the MBtech office in China or the subsidiary MBtech Cleaning Systems, Inc. in the United States, your data may be transmitted outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards: OVH.

7. Links to other websites

This website contains links to third-party sites (LinkedIn, distributors' websites, OpenStreetMap for directions). These services only receive information about your visit if you click the link, and apply their own privacy policies.

8. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability of your data, as well as the right to set directives on what happens to your data after your death. To exercise them, write to contact@mb-tech.fr; proof of identity may be requested. We reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted HTTPS connection, security headers (CSP, HSTS, etc.), protection of the form against fraudulent submissions (anti-CSRF token and anti-bot mechanism), and access to requests limited to authorised persons at MBtech.

10. Updates to this policy

This policy may be modified to reflect legal or technical changes. Last updated: October 4, 2026.
